CCTV News: Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on May 12 showed that in the first four months of this year, my country's automobile production and sales both exceeded 10 million vehicles for the first time in history.

According to statistics, from January to April this year, my country's automobile production and sales reached 10.175 million and 10.06 million respectively, an increase of 12.9% and 10.8% year-on-year respectively. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 4.429 million and 4.3 million respectively, an increase of 48.3% and 46.2% year-on-year respectively, and the sales of new energy vehicles reached 42.7% of the total sales of new automobiles.

In terms of exports, from January to April this year, 1.937 million vehicles were exported, an increase of 6% year-on-year. Among them, 642,000 new energy vehicles were exported, an increase of 52.6% year-on-year.

A relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that since the beginning of this year, various macro policies have been put in a coordinated manner and the economy has shown a positive trend, providing strong support for the stable growth of my country's automobile market.
