CCTV News: The Ministry of Education recently issued a notice to deploy and implement the "Double Thousand" plan to improve employment capacity of college students, and promote the opening of 1,000 "micro-professional" (or professional course groups) and 1,000 vocational ability training courses nationwide.
The "Double Thousand" plan is urgently needed for future industrial and strategic emerging industries, traditional industrial transformation, digital economy, green economy, low-altitude economy, and people's livelihood service guarantee, and builds "micro-professional" and vocational ability training courses, mainly for undergraduate and higher vocational (junior) middle and senior students. "Micro-professional" is mainly divided into three categories: urgently needed and scarce, application skills, and cross-complex.
College universities should offer multiple types of "micro-professionals" based on actual needs, give priority to the urgently needed and scarce types and applied skills types, give full play to the advantages of "primary school points, high focus, precise courses, interdisciplinary, flexibility" and support students to learn 3-10 courses in the professional course group through online and offline methods to complete their learning tasks.
Vocational ability training courses are mainly divided into basic quality improvement categories, professional skills training categories, artificial intelligence application categories, and internship practice categories. Colleges and universities should give priority to mobilizing the 2025 graduates to participate and obtain corresponding learning results certificates to help improve employment capabilities and implement their destinations as soon as possible.
