CCTV News: According to the WeChat official account of the State Post Bureau, in March, the postal industry's delivery business volume reached 18.27 billion pieces, an increase of 18.1% year-on-year. Among them, the express delivery business volume reached 16.66 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 20.3%.

In March, the business revenue of the postal industry reached 152.52 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%. Among them, the express delivery business revenue reached 124.6 billion yuan, an increase of 10.4% year-on-year.

In the first quarter, the postal industry's delivery business volume reached a total of 49.64 billion pieces, an increase of 19.0% year-on-year. Among them, the express delivery business volume reached 45.14 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 21.6%.

In the first quarter, the total volume of express delivery in the same city reached 3.62 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%; the total volume of express delivery in the off-site reached 40.5 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 23.5%; the total volume of express delivery in the international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan reached 1.03 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 25.8%.

In the first quarter, the postal letter business completed a total of 200 million pieces, a year-on-year decrease of 15.5%; the parcel business completed a total of 6.816 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%; the newspaper business completed a total of 4.14 billion pieces, a year-on-year decrease of 1.6%; the magazine business completed a total of 160 million pieces, a year-on-year decrease of 5.5%; the foreign exchange business completed a total of 533,000 pieces, a year-on-year decrease of 27.4%.

In the first quarter, the postal industry business revenue (excluding the direct operating income of the Postal Savings Bank) reached 424.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%. Among them, the cumulative revenue of express delivery business reached 345.64 billion yuan, an increase of 10.9% year-on-year.

In the first quarter, the express delivery business volume in the same city, off-site, international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan accounted for 8.0%, 89.7% and 2.3% of the total express delivery business volume respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express delivery volume in the same city decreased by 1.5 percentage points, the proportion of express delivery volume in the off-site increased by 1.4 percentage points, and the proportion of international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan increased by 0.1 percentage point.

In the first quarter, the proportion of express delivery business volume in the east, central and western regions was 71.3%, 19.5% and 9.2%, respectively, and the proportion of business revenue was 73.7%, 15.6% and 10.7%, respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express business volume in the eastern region fell by 1.5 percentage points, and the proportion of express business revenue decreased by 0.8 percentage points; the proportion of express business volume in the central region increased by 0.9 percentage points, and the proportion of express business revenue increased by 0.5 percentage points; the proportion of express business volume in the western region increased by 0.6 percentage points, and the proportion of express business revenue increased by 0.3 percentage points.

In the first quarter, the brand concentration index of express delivery and parcel services was CR8 at 86.9, down 0.2 from January to February.
