In April, Hanoi is lush with trees and full of vitality. In the Chairman's Mansion Square, the five-star red flag fluttered in the wind, and more than 200 Vietnamese children waved their flags to warmly welcome Xi Jinping's visit.
When Xi Jinping arrived by car, Su Lin warmly greeted him at the get off, and Vietnamese children presented flowers to Xi Jinping. Xi Jinping and Su Lin walked onto the reviewing stand together. The military band played the national anthems of China and Vietnam, and 21 salutes were sounded. Xi Jinping inspected the guard of honor accompanied by Su Lin. The general secretaries of the two parties shook hands with the other party's accompanying personnel, and then watched the parade together.
After the welcoming ceremony, Xi Jinping and Su Lin walked to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam to hold talks. Hundreds of Vietnamese people along the way waved the flags of the two parties and countries and expressed their warmest welcome to Xi Jinping. Xi Jinping waved to the welcome crowd.
