CCTV News: According to the WeChat official account of the China Meteorological Administration, at around 11:50 on February 8, a landslide occurred in Jinping Village, Muai Town, Yunlian County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, causing several houses to be buried and people to be trapped. The National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Commission has launched a national fourth-level disaster relief emergency response.

After comprehensive analysis and emergency consultation, the China Meteorological Administration launched a level 4 emergency response to geological disaster relief meteorological support services at 18:30 on February 8, requiring all relevant functional departments and directly affiliated units to immediately enter the level 4 emergency response status of geological disaster relief meteorological support services and make every effort to provide meteorological support services for geological disaster relief.

At present, the Sichuan Provincial Meteorological Bureau has entered a level 3 emergency response state.
