The preparation work for spring plowing is being carried out from south to north. National fertilizer production and sales companies are working hard to ensure supply.
In this fertilizer production workshop in Shandong, machines roared, the production line was running at full capacity, and bags of fertilizers were continuously offline. According to the company's person in charge, they deployed in advance, and the system is still operating 24 hours a day during the Spring Festival, and the current daily output has reached more than 1,300 tons. Enterprises have also strengthened connections with railways, highways and other transportation departments to open green channels to ensure smooth transportation of fertilizers.
In late October last year, Zhong Agricultural Group began winter storage of fertilizers. Currently, it has added warehouse sites in East China, South China, Central China and other regions to meet the fertilizer needs of the southern market. The warehouse sites have collected and stored nearly 4 million tons of fertilizers, and various distribution service outlets have sufficient stockings.
Coal enterprises should speed up production
Ensure the supply of raw materials for fertilizers
my country needs to consume more than 50 million tons of fertilizers every year, including more than 40 million tons of nitrogen fertilizers. Coal is the main raw material for nitrogen fertilizer production, and coal enterprises have also become the main force in fertilizer production.
This coal mine company in Inner Mongolia is also providing raw materials to fertilizer companies while completing energy supply. After high-quality coal is mined underground, it is transported directly to nearby fertilizer production companies through automobiles and belts. After 36 hours of conversion, the black coal becomes white nitrogen fertilizer and will be sent to the Northeast.
Data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in December last year, the national output of industrial raw coal above designated size reached 440 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%. In 2024, the output of industrial raw coal above designated size was 4.76 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%. Raw coal production hit a record high, providing strong guarantees for energy security and fertilizer production.
