After the fire broke out, all sectors of society in the Mainland and Hong Kong acted quickly to ensure the living needs of the affected residents and assist in post-disaster reconstruction through cash donations, material support, emergency services and other means.

As of December 4, the "Tai Po Wang Fook Court Assistance Fund" has received a total of HK$2.8 billion in donations from all walks of life. With the government's injection of HK$300 million, the total fund reached HK$3.1 billion, providing strong support for subsequent relief and post-disaster reconstruction work.

At that time, one social worker will be responsible for one affected household, and another 2 to 3 civil servants will form a small team to help the affected residents, providing emotional support, psychological counseling, temporary care services for the elderly and disabled, and assistance in applying for various assistance benefits.
