CCTV News: At the press conference on January 17, the Council for the Promotion of International Trade also released the "2024 China Business Environment Research Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report").
The report shows that China's overall business environment is constantly being optimized, and Chinese and foreign companies are highly satisfied. The surveyed companies evaluated China's business environment in 2024 at 4.37 points (out of 5 points), and nearly 90% of the surveyed companies evaluated China's business environment as "very satisfied" or "relatively satisfied", an increase of 2.1 percentage points from 2023.
From the sub-indicators, most people have risen steadily. Among them, the interviewed enterprises had a high evaluation of the three indicators of customs services, enterprise establishment and exit, and social rule of law, and improved the evaluation of seven indicators such as fair competition and social rule of law. Among them, the evaluation of policy and government affairs and human resources indicators increased the largest, with an increase of 4%. Yang Fan, spokesperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, introduced that from the perspective of market expectations, it is relatively optimistic. In 2024, more than 70% of the companies surveyed had a stable profit or increased, and their share was basically the same as in 2023, and more than 60% of the companies surveyed had good expectations for China's prospects.
Among them, some interviewed companies hope that the government will increase tax and fee reduction efforts, strengthen the publicity and interpretation of policies that benefit enterprises, and continuously optimize the business environment.
