CCTV News: According to the Ministry of Transport, on January 16, 2025 (the third day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the 17th day of the 12th lunar month, Thursday), the cross-regional personnel flow in the whole society was 187.851 million, an increase of 1.8% month-on-month, a decrease of 2.7% from the same period in 2024 (Sunday).

>>The railway passenger volume was 12.026 million, an increase of 7.9% month-on-month and 2.6% over the same period in 2024.

>>The flow of highway personnel (including the travel volume of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways and commercial passenger traffic) was 173.07 million, an increase of 1.4% month-on-month and a decrease of 3.1% over the same period in 2024. Among them, the number of business passengers on highways was 28.74 million, an increase of 4.3% month-on-month, an increase of 3.3% over the same period in 2024; the number of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 144.33 million, an increase of 0.9% month-on-month, a decrease of 4.3% over the same period in 2024.

>>The water passenger volume was 547,000, an increase of 9.6% month-on-month and a decrease of 13.6% from the same period in 2024.

>>The civil aviation passenger volume was 2.2082 million, an increase of 0.42% month-on-month and 9.06% over the same period in 2024.
