In the vegetable planting base in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, farmers are harvesting mature celery in the fields, packing, weighing, and packing it to nearby farmers' markets and Hangzhou, Shanghai and other places.

Lin Xiefa, a villager in Shiqiu Village, Guanban Town, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province said: "This year's celery production is still a bumper harvest and it grows very well. Like the one in my hand, it's more than two pounds."

The batch of celery harvested now was planted after the late rice harvest in October last year, with a yield of 8,000 kilograms per mu. After the celery harvest is over, rice must be planted here, so spring plowing preparations are also underway.

Shi Ying, director of the Technical Assurance Center of Guanban Town, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, said: "At present, all the farmland and canals in our town have been repaired and improved, and the water reaches the edge of the field."

In Nibasi Village, Peng'an County, Nanchong, Sichuan, land adjustment, ditches excavation, and mechanized farming road laying operations are underway. After the high-standard farmland project in this area is built, it will effectively improve the cultivation conditions, transportation capacity and water conservancy drainage capacity of more than 3,400 acres of arable land.

He Tao, manager of the pilot project of high-standard farmland construction in Peng'an County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, said: "We seized the golden period of farmland water conservancy construction, invested more than 50 machines and equipment such as excavators and bulldozers, and organized more than 70 construction personnel. At present, more than 270 mu of land have been leveled, and it is expected to be fully completed in April."

According to the plan, the entire Nanchong City will complete the construction of 400,000 mu of high-standard farmland this year.
