The reporter learned on February 8 that the first international standard for carriage in the field of electrical transportation equipment led by my country, "Electrical Transport Equipment Part 3-2: Testing Methods for Mobility Performance of Electrical Transport Equipment for Carriage Electrical Transport Equipment" (IEC 63281-3-2), was officially released recently. Experts from China, Belgium, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Spain and other countries jointly completed the development of this international standard. This standard aims to establish a unified testing basis for the evaluation of various types of material-carrying electrical transportation equipment used in indoor and outdoor scenarios. It will become an important engine for the development of the international material-carrying electrical transportation equipment industry and further promote widespread application around the world.
Electrical transportation equipment (commonly known as "unmanned delivery vehicles") has been used in multiple scenarios such as express delivery, hotels, restaurants, and mobile retail. Mobile performance, as the basis for its functional implementation, is a key factor affecting the stability and efficiency of product operation, and is a comprehensive reflection of product hardware configuration and software performance. This standard fully considers the mobility needs of typical indoor and outdoor application scenarios, clarifies key indicators and testing methods to characterize their mobility performance, and will become an important basis for global manufacturers, users and third-party testing agencies to evaluate product mobility performance. This standard not only provides a unified reference for the international trade of related products, promotes smooth connection of international trade, but also reduces the time spent on repeated testing and certification for global related product manufacturers, including my country, and reduces economic costs.
