During the Spring Festival holiday, many places across the country introduced measures such as ticket discounts for scenic spots and the issuance of cultural and tourism consumption coupons to benefit the people, and the potential for tourism consumption has been continuously released. As the first Spring Festival holiday after the successful application for World Heritage, tourists have shown great enthusiasm for New Year’s customs activities. Beijing, Xi’an and other places are still popular tourist destinations with their long cultural heritage. Ice and snow tourism in Northeast China and other regions continues to be hot, "county tourism" and "rural tourism" have become new hot spots, and the inbound tourism market has steadily risen. According to the Data Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, during the 8-day Spring Festival holiday, 501 million domestic travelers nationwide, an increase of 5.9% year-on-year; the total domestic travel expenses were 677.02 billion yuan, an increase of 7.0% year-on-year.
