According to China Earthquake Network, the epicenter is 13 kilometers away from the nearest Tarim Township, 74 kilometers away from Luntai County, 80 kilometers away from Shaya County, 82 kilometers away from Kuqa City, 100 kilometers away from Xinhe County, 170 kilometers away from Baicheng County, and 176 kilometers away from Tiemenguan City.
